SPORTS
The young people of Msema now have their own sportsfield and
smart brick clubhouse.
The Australian AIDS Fund Incorporated provided the funding to
buy the land and to build the two-roomed clubhouse...which will
be home to The Msema Kangaroos, the boys football teams...and
the Msema Matildas, the girls netball team....who've also been
kitted out.
Six brick benches have now been built around the perimeter of
the ground to seat the spectators who are coming to Msema from
far and wide to watch the sports.

A weekend in September.......for
Australian footy fans that means Grand Final Week.
But this September in Msema will also be a date to remember....the
occasion when, with the assistance of The Australian AIDS
Fund Inc., the Searchlight Orphan Care organisation was able
to buy this fine 3-tonner lorry from South Africa.
And for the Msema Kangaroos (pictured here) and the girls
basketball team - the Msema Matildas...that'll mean their
own transport to get them to their "away" games.
Who was it who said there's strength in numbers? |
