JUNE 2009 -AUSTRALIA'S NATIONAL SEXUAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN

 

 

 

The Australian Government has launched a new National STI Prevention Program: Sexual Health Campaign to raise young people’s awareness about the risks of infection and to generate a sense of personal responsibility to help prevent the spread of STIs.

It offers the opportunity to access valuable information on STI prevention, testing and treatment, the risks of sex without a condom and tips on how to negotiate condom use.

Here's a new sex education website for young people that's been created by Marie Stopes International.

It features 'Like It Is' ... a new sex education website for young people.


Youthnet is a global program aimed at improving the reproductive health and the prevention of HIV/AIDS among young people 10 to 24 years old. It's employed the energy, insight, and experience of parents, schoolteachers, employers, policymakers, the media, health professionals, non-government agencies, religious and community leaders, and other youth networks.

It's in English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Arabic.
