To mark Eve's 21st birthday, her mother Gloria has released a treasured letter she received from the Princess of Wales.

Dear Gloria,
I was so very sorry to hear of Eve's death and wanted you to know how much you and your family are in my thoughts as you come to terms with her great loss.

What courage and strength Eve showed to us all and we must feel enlightened that such a little lady came into our world and taught us so many things…

Words are such inadequate things to express at times like this, Gloria, but you are not on your own as a mother too I can identify with your pain.
