Our Christmas wish is for the right of all to condom protection against the risk of HIV infection to be upheld in all nations, including Australia, and especially in those partnerships where one person is HIV-infected.
That's why we appealed in the Public Notices area of the Herald (December 20) for Father Michael Kelly to step down from his position on the Federal Government's HIV/AIDS advisory sub-committee, given his published objections to condom use, which fly in the face of the Government's reliance on and endorsement of condom protection.
Danger is one thing, absurdity quite another.
